Behind the Camera...
Amy
I have never been particularly good at introducing myself, but, ask me about my dogs and you will have me chatting for hours.
The two very good boys in the photo with me are my own pups; Koda, and, Hawke, who have been pushing me to grow my knowledge of photography.
Koda (the yellow labrador retriever) was born in my family home, and gifted to me by my parents at 18. I have been with him from day one and we are very rarely apart. I have multiple photo albums spilling out of our cupbaords at home filled with many printed photographs of him throughout his various life-stages - he has always been a very willing participant in any photoshoot ideas I've had and definitely knows that camera = extra goodies!
Hawke (the red border collie) . Growing up I always admired the athleticism and intelligence of border collies and now that Koda is starting to slow down with age, I decided it was the right time to bring a new member to the team so that Koda can take life a little easier. I am very excited to start this new photography venture with Hawke and plan to train him for not just photography, but also for some kind of dog sport once we find what he loves.

Amy G Photography
a little about
Amy G Photography was born from my love of (you guessed it!) taking photos and being a bit "arty". I started out as an enthusiastic hobbyist photographer, taking photos of a variety of subjects; from cosplayers, to weddings! However, my true passion began to become more apparent when various family pets, wildlife and horses started to appear much more frequently in front of my camera.
In 2017, I was invited by a close friend to try my hand at photographing horses in a more professional setting and I instantly fell in love with seeing the joy I could bring to other people with my photos.
Thanks to much generous support and guidance from Melissa & Lindsey at Fairoak Grange Equestrian, I officially covered my first full British Dressage event as Amy G Photography in July 2020.
And now?..
I am a full time photographer, specialising in pet portraits and equine events with over 5 years of experience where I can express my deep rooted love and admiration for magical moments with artwork that you will be proud to show off!
As a dog-mum myself, I know how hard it can be to watch our pets age, knowing that our time with them is finite - this is my biggest drive to get out there and help you to create not just beautiful images of your beloved friend, but to also allow you to create lasting memories to accompany your images every time you see them.
